Term 1 - Weeks 8 and 9

Trinity received our class award for week 9 for the respect she shows others every day.  

Well done Trinity!

 We have been looking at ways to use our facts to 10 to work out questions like 45 + ?  = 100.

A few students decided that numberlines were very helpful to show how they did it.

Alex received our class award for showing whanaungatanga by always being ready with a helping hand.  Well done Alex!

Term 1 - Week 7

Kobie received our class award for having an awesome attitude at school each day.  Well done Kobie!

We have written awesome stories about having a pet dragon, today we shared these with each other.

Term 1 - Week 6

James received our class award for always lending a helping hand, way to go James, keep it up!

Ella, James, Trinity and Caitlyn shared their poems about friendship during writer's spot at assembly.

In maths Parker explains the different ways he would break up 28 students into different groups in our class.  All students had a go at this Rich Task which had many possible solutions.

Term 1 - Week 5

Macey received our class award for the positive attitude she brings into Tī Kōuka each day and for always lending a helping hand.  Well done Macey!

On Friday we did a maths rotation with three different dice games and studyladder maths.
