Term 2 - Week 1

The students were given a range of animals and asked to come up with different ways these could be grouped and then to present, and explain, their ideas to the class.  Some of the different ways of grouping included: mammals, reptiles, ones that could fly, the number of legs they had, what they ate, their habitat, ones that were kept as pets and whether they had fur, feathers, or scales.

In maths we have been using arrays to show our understanding of multiplication.

Our 'No Child Left Inside' sessions each Tuesday are focusing on movements to do with winter sport, including dodging and finding space quickly.  We will also start practising running for the cross-country soon.
