Term 2 - Week 12 Friday: Our last day of school for the term!

Alexis received our class award, and sadly it is our last day with her before she heads off to her new school....lucky them!  Alexis has brought her positive attitude into school every day, she is responsible and shows respect to everyone.  We will miss you!

Term 2 - Week 11

Wow, nearly the end of a long term, just one more week to go.  The students all seem to be a bit tired now, and a few colds starting to appear, so the break will come at a good time... a chance to re-charge the batteries!

Maddie received our class award for the ownership (responsibility) she has shown.

Cameron received our class award for being polite and respectful every day.

Police Helpers

Today we had Constable Hamish in to visit with us.  He began by showing us items that he wears on his uniform and what he uses them for.  We were taught that the new number to call when it's not an emergency is 10/5.

Next he talked to us about different types of abuse.  We practised saying, "Stop I don't like that," walking away then talking to someone. (Stop/Walk/Talk).  He also took us through some different scenarios and we worked out what kind of abuse it was.

Term 2 - Week 9

Ryan received our class award for the GRIT he is showing in maths.

Ryan brings a positive attitude to each lesson and tackles those tricky maths problems.

Term 2 - Week 8

Lilly received our class award for the GRIT she is showing in reading and writing.

We had hockey skills practise this week.

 We also used our spelling skills to make as many words as we could out of a group of 12 letters.
